Throughout the summer holidays, the team at Gorilla have been volunteering at Urban Outreach, a North-west based charity. Urban Outreach provides support to some of the most disadvantaged, vulnerable and complex adults and young people in Bolton.
The team have given up their mornings to make sandwiches and pack up lunch bags for children who would be eligible for free school lunches.
More than one in five school children are eligible for free school meals in the Bolton area due to low household income – that’s over 8,600 children!
During the school summer holidays, these families face a six-week struggle to find the money to feed their children, which is why Urban Outreach step in.
Take a look at some of the amazing work they do.

Our operations manager – Richard, New Business Manager – Craig and Accountant – Tom enjoyed their morning at Urban Outreach.
Urban Outreach is a fantastic organisation that does some fantastic work in the local area! We’re looking forward to joining them again next summer.
