Bolton based Gorilla Accounting has been nominated for ‘Professional Services Firm of the Year’ at this years North West Business Masters Awards. Specialist Contractor and Freelancer Accountancy firm Gorilla Accounting has seen rapid growth in the past twelve months – from inception in February 2015, Gorilla now employs 7 members of staff and has a client list that is growing daily.
Gorilla is an innovative accountancy firm, serving the needs of the growing body of contractors and freelancers across the UK. Gorilla serves as a platform for contractors and freelancers to share ideas, and build relationships – acting as a community that actively encourages interaction. In a crowded market Gorilla has shone in its first year and has built a very impressive client list. Gorilla have netted themselves a great reputation throughout the contracting/freelancing community – staggering for a business that is barley even a year old.
This years ceremony which takes place at The Midland Hotel in Manchester on the 10th March, has a definite sporting theme and is being hosted by Dan Walker – BBC sports presenter and reporter. Also in attendance will be North West footballing legend Kevin Keegan, as a guest speaker.
Dan Fallows, co-founder of Gorilla Accounting, has commented:
“Gorilla has gone from strength to strength since we started the company at the beginning of last year. Gorilla has been formed to offer a simple, competitive and slick offering to the self-employed. There is a real demand from busy contractors for a simple, technology led and non-baffling accountancy service. As more and more people become self-employed, there is a strong market for a product like Gorilla.”
“We’re overwhelmed to be nominated for professional services firm of the year at the Business Masters 2016, we’ve barely been operating for year, so as you could imagine this came as a shock. We’re not expecting to win, but just to be nominated for such a prestigious award is a real honour.”
