Gorilla Accounting has been nominated in the High Growth Business of the Year category at the 2016 E3 Business Awards. The awards dinner will be held on Friday 3rd June at the Macron Stadium, Bolton.
The E3 awards have been held annually since 2013, and are designed to celebrate achievement and diversity within the North West business community. This year’s nominees comprise of a mixture of companies, charities, social enterprises and individuals.
“Every year, the Award get bigger and the standard gets higher,” said 1EM managing director Mubarak Chati. “This year, the total number of nominations was 25% up on last year, which was itself 30% higher than 2014.
“However, each year also seems to bring a surprise of some kind. This year, that came in the shape of a big surge in entries from the voluntary sector. Since 2013, we’ve had an award category for social enterprises, but this time, we had so many nominations from charities that we felt we really ought to add a new award to reflect their numbers, their achievements and the great work they’re doing. Consequently, although we started this year with 16 categories, we’ve now added another.”
