Recent research carried out by Sonovate, a leading recruitment finance provider, discovered demand for senior interim and contract level positions in London are at a record high. Sonovate utilised data from 180 job boards and across 500,000 employer websites.
The research discovered that demand for roles have increased 23 percent per quarter. Director-level vacancies have increased 39 percent, with 1,100 roles advertised in Q1 2016.
The top 3 highest-paid roles in Q1 2016 were:
- Head of Programme Management – £850 per day
- Strategy Director – £750 per day
- Senior Change Manager – £757 per day
- Programme Director – £616 per day
Richard Prime, co-CEO of Sonovate, comments: “Nobody needs to be told that London is a hotbed of British business, but the increase in advertisements for senior roles indicates that there’s a huge appetite for quality leadership in the capital.”
Going forward into 2016, Sonovate have predicted that the level of growth of new management opportunities will continue to soar by 16%, which will see roles increase to 6,300 in July 2016.
